Eywa NFT Bridge from Aurora to Arbitrum

PreviousEywa NFT CollectionNextMerge interface in the Arbitrum chain

Last updated 5 months ago

Migration from Aurora to Arbitrum

Prior to the TGE, we’ll open a bridge for transferring EYWA NFTs from the Aurora blockchain to Arbitrum. After the collection is moved to Arbitrum, the Merge function will become available.

NOTE: After migrating your NFTs to Arbitrum, their copies on Aurora will be burned.

Don’t worry β€” all your EYWA tokens contained in those NFTs will be detached and merged if bridging multiple NFTs at once. You can always check your balance in the β€œDashboard”.

After the TGE, tokens will be claimable in the Claim Portal and can again be placed inside an NFT container if you so desire.

To use the bridge and transfer your EYWA NFT from Aurora to Arbitrum, your wallet needs to have ETH in Aurora to sign the transaction and pay gwei (Ethereum accounting unit) in the Aurora chain. You can move as many as 20 NFTs* in one transaction. The transfer of one NFT costs $1 in ETH plus the cost of gas, which depends on how busy the network is at the time. The gas cost (gwei) is currently at 0.00005712 ETH for one NFT.

Example: To transfer 20 NFTs, the cost of using the bridge is $20 (i.e. 0.006369 ETH) + the network fee of 0,0007579 ETH = 0.007127 ETH or $22,37 (at the cost of ETH at the time of this writing).

There are several ways to get ETH on the Aurora chain into your wallet:

If you have trouble connecting to the apps, we recommend using a VPN

To swap ETH from an EVM chain (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, BSC, etc.) supported by one of the above apps, you need to first load up your wallet from a CEX, DEX, or other on-ramps available to you.

  1. Description of how the Rainbow Bridge works

After making the selection, click β€œConnect”.

To select a wallet, click on β€œEthereum Wallet” and connect your wallet.

If your wallet is not on the list, use β€œWalletConnect”.

After successfully connecting the wallet and selecting your source chain and Aurora as the destination chain, click β€œBegin new transfer”.

Click β€œCheck network” to check if your wallet is compatible with Aurora.

After receiving the successful check notification, click β€œContinue”. If the selected wallet does not support Aurora, go back to available wallets and pick one that is EVM-compatible.

Select ETH from the β€œChoose token” list and enter the desired amount into the ”Enter amount” field, then click ”Continue”.

After double-checking the source chain, the transfer amount, and the destination chain, click β€œContinue”. As soon as you confirm the transaction, the transfer will begin.

Transferring from Ethereum to Aurora usually takes around 20 minutes.

Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

After confirming the transaction, you will receive a notification of the confirmation. Transferring from Ethereum to Aurora takes about 20 minutes. You can check the log of transactions by clicking β€œGo to my transfers”.

After the transaction is complete, you will see its history in β€œCompleted transfers”.

  1. Description of the Meson Finance protocol

After successfully connecting, choose the source chain and ETH as the token in the Β«FromΒ» tab.

In the Β«ToΒ» tab, select Aurora as the destination chain and ETH as the token.

Enter the desired amount in the β€œAmount” field and click β€œSwap”.

The minimal fee for transfers is 0.00112 ETH

After double-checking the amount, the receiving wallet, and the fee amount, click β€œConfirm”.

After successful signing, confirm the swap in your wallet

After the transaction is successfully completed on-chain, you will receive a notification of the transfer’s success.

Bridge interface description in the Aurora chain

After successfully connecting the wallet in the Β«BridgeΒ» tab, you will see all the available NFTs in your wallet, their level of rarity, and the number of EYWA tokens within the containers.

In the top right corner, you can toggle between list and icon view options:

To migrate them to the Arbitrum chain, select up to 20 NFTs* and click Β«BridgeΒ».

In the first transaction, confirm migrating the NFTs by clicking Β«Approve selected NFTsΒ»:

Then, to migrate them into Arbitrum, click Β«BridgeΒ» and confirm in the wallet:

After it’s confirmed on-chain, you will receive a notification about the successful bridging of your NFTs to Arbitrum:

NOTE: After migrating your NFTs to Arbitrum, their copies on Aurora will be burned.

After the TGE, tokens will be claimable in the Claim Portal and can again be placed inside an NFT container if you so desire.

Description of the Dashboard interface

After successfully connecting your wallet, expand the NFT tab.

In the β€œAwaiting TGE/vesting” field, you will see the number of EYWA tokens uncoupled from the NFT after the migration from Aurora to Arbitrum. To manage vesting safes, go into the NFT Manager by clicking β€œView”.

* During peak hours, the Aurora network can be unstable: if you can't transfer 20 NFTs, try transferring 10 to 15 NFTs in a single transaction or try again .

- Use the native bridge (supports ETH only on the Ethereum chain)

- Swap on (supports ETH on 11+ EVM chains)

- Swap on (supports ETH on 10+ EVM chains)
